30390NH LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Bay County Sheriff is offering vendors an opportunity to submit proposals for providing Armed Security Services on a contract basis for the Bay County Sheriff's Office Jail Facility. The Facility is currently averaging a daily inmate population of around 1150 and typically averages a monthly intake and release of 2500 individuals. The Sheriff is seeking to identify and select an independent company to perform the general activities requested in an abbreviated RFP in syllabus form. The Vendor must be currently engaged in providing Armed Security Services and licensed in the State of Florida to perform such services. The Vendor will also be expected to provide sufficient management staff to schedule and oversee the security personnel assigned to fulfill and resulting contract for services. To be in compliance with this abbreviated Request For Proposals, the proposal must include the ability to comply with criteria related to the requirements concerning operational, pricing, scope of services, references, company profile and qualified personnel whose backgrounds have been approved prior to startup. The Bay County Sheriff reserves the right to: Reject any or all proposals; Accept other than the lowest priced proposal; Award a non-exclusive contract on the basis of initial proposals received without discussions or requests for best and final offers. 8524838 Notice of Data Incident On April 5, 2021, CaptureRx informed Walmart of a security incident that affected a hosting service used by CaptureRx in connection with a pharmacy benefits program. That program is administered by CaptureRx for clinics and pharmacies. CaptureRx identified unusual activity involving certain electronic files, immediately began an investigation, and worked quickly to assess the security of its systems. On February 19, 2021, the investigation determined that certain files were accessed and acquired on February 6, 2021 without authorization. Walmart•s information systems were not affected by this incident. CaptureRx determined that the information included patient names, dates of birth, and prescription information such as prescription number and service dates. CaptureRx maintained the affected information in connection with a pharmacy benefits program CaptureRx administers for many health care providers, such as clinics and pharmacies. CaptureRx has posted additional information about the incident at https://www.capturerx.com/data-incident/. Walmart•s systems were not impacted. However, we will be reviewing CaptureRx•s security practices and monitoring the circumstances surrounding this event.
